About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Dallas' distinguished Highland Park Village, Fachini offers an exceptional Italian dining experience that artfully blends rich tradition with contemporary elegance. Specializing in classic Italian cuisine, this restaurant delights guests with an array of thoughtfully crafted dishes that awaken the palate and invite lingering conversations over perfectly paired wine.

Upon arrival, you are greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere highlighted by plush red carpeting and an energetic dining room that buzzes with life and genuine hospitality. The ambiance perfectly complements the culinary journey that awaits, where every plate is a celebration of texture, flavor, and authenticity.

Fachini’s menu is a treasure trove for lovers of Italian fare. Standout appetizers like Mussels Salsicce and the tender Fritti Di Calamari entice the senses with their vibrant, fresh notes and crispy, golden exteriors. The homemade ricotta, a guest favorite, is decadently creamy and genuinely “out of this world,” as one enthusiastic diner noted. For the main course, the Veal Parmigiana and Rigatoni Alla Vodka are noteworthy for their balance of hearty, comforting flavors and nuanced seasoning, evoking a true taste of Italy’s culinary heritage.

The pasta offerings are particularly impressive—each dish prepared with care and attention to preserve authentic textures and bold, harmonious flavors. The Cacio e Pepe is rich and cheesy with a perfect peppery bite that lingers delightfully on the tongue, showcasing Fachini’s mastery of classic Roman simplicity. For those who prefer something more indulgent, the 100-layer lasagna melts layers of savory delight with every forkful, embodying the passionate soul of Italian cooking.

A highlight of any meal at Fachini has to be the expertly curated wine selection, which perfectly complements the diverse menu. Whether savoring a glass of Aperol Spritz or a robust red, each sip enhances the dining experience, inviting relaxation and conviviality.

End your meal on a sweet note with decadent desserts like the airy Tiramisu or the moist and spiced Carrot Cake, each bite dripping with rich, luscious textures that leave a lasting impression. Customers consistently praise the dessert offerings as the perfect finishing touch to an already memorable meal.

What truly sets Fachini apart is not just the impeccable food but the service that feels both professional and warmly genuine. Guests often mention servers who engage with enthusiasm and expert knowledge, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit special. Portions are generous, encouraging guests to share plates and savor an array of flavors.

Whether you’re joining for Dallas-Fort Worth Restaurant Week or a spontaneous evening out, Fachini promises an exceptional Italian dining adventure that will exceed expectations. It’s a place where every dish feels lovingly prepared, every bite transporting you to Italy, and every moment leaves you eager for the next return.

If we could give 10⭐'s, we would. Everything was fantastic. Service, food, portions. We came for DFW Restaurant Week and our expectations were exceeded. The homemade ricotta was out of this world!! We will definitely be back! My husband said this is the best Italian food he's had. Even though they did not have sweet tea, the tea was infused with something and still very good. Second time we went was just as amazing. We took my mother and she loved it!

I recently visited Fechini Restaurant with my neighbor and had an amazing experience. We ordered the Cacio e Pepe pasta, 100-layer lasagna, a salad, and tiramisu to finish. Everything from start to end was memorable. The Cacio e Pepe was absolutely perfect in my opinion—rich, cheesy, with just the right kick of pepper. I really loved the depth of flavor, especially the balance between the cheese and that freshly cracked pepper. My neighbor, on the other hand, found it a bit spicy and mentioned the pasta was slightly overcooked for her taste—so I think it really depends on personal preference. But for me, it was spot on. The 100-layer lasagna was just as incredible as I remembered—this was actually my second time having it, and it didn’t disappoint. Each bite was layered with flavor and perfectly balanced. The salad was fresh and simple, a nice contrast to the richness of the pasta. We ended with the tiramisu, which was a highlight. It was honestly better than many dessert cafés I’ve been to—light, creamy, and full of flavor. It tied the meal together beautifully. Parking can be a bit challenging since it’s in the Highland Park shopping area, but on the plus side, it's a great spot to walk around and explore after your meal. If you’re looking for a cozy place with elevated comfort food, flavorful pasta, and desserts worth saving room for—Fechini is a must-try.

The place was recommended by one of the sellers from Dallas Market. They even made the reservations for us. We showed up at 7. Promptly seated. Wonderful garlic bread and calamari. Dinner was a couple of great pasta dishes. I think this is a place to share a plate. Portions are quite large. The wine selection is fabulous. Shared a carrot cake for dessert. I would definitely recommend and return here.

Fachini is fabulous. Walking up the stairs with the plush red carpet and entering the energetic vibe of the dining room creates a good feeling. Our server was on point during the entire experience. He struck us as a person who genuinely enjoys engaging with the patrons. The food was really good, but I recently dined at an exceptional Italian restaurant in Chicago where the food was next level so my bar to hit 5 stars in this category is very high. Nevertheless, Fachini is in Dallas and among the best Italian restaurants we have here.

We came here for restaurant week and had a great experience! I’ve seen a bunch of negative reviews regarding the service and I couldn’t disagree more! The service was top notch all night. They first brought bread and cheese and that was a show stopper! It was so good. We then got the calamari and eggplant and that also was very good. For our mains, we got the lasagna and rigatoni - which were also incredible. We then finished the night with carrot cake and tiramisu. My wife said the carrot cake was some of the best she’s had. The tiramisu was also pretty good! I highly recommend checking this place out if you get the chance. Great date night place as well!

The Veal Parm and the bread with ricotta are the best things here, the ricotta is really good. Overall though this place is a little overpriced for what it is. The lasagna and vodka pasta were just ok. Worth trying other stuff. It is so loud in here that you cant really talk without really raising your voice. Tiny tables dont help either so I would hold out for a booth if I decide to try again. Wait staff was fine but the small tables and noise really leaves a lot to be desired.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere perfect for a night out with friends. The only thing that detracted from the evening was the 3 tables of 10 college aged women (30 total) that were loud and privileged owning the room
